IT consultancy
Technical advice on your systems and architecture.
Technical advice on your systems, software and architecture, so you can make informed decisions about your technology.
What we do
- We review the systems, software and cloud services you use, and give you clear, written technical advice on how to improve, replace or extend them.
- We help you plan the architecture of new software or changes to existing systems before money is spent building them.
- Our advice is technical only. We explain the options, their trade-offs and the risks in plain language, and the decision stays with you.
Typical projects
General examples of the kind of work we take on. They are not descriptions of past clients.
- A review of an existing application or system, with a written list of problems and recommended fixes in order of importance.
- Planning the architecture for a new piece of software, including how it stores data, how people sign in and how it is hosted.
- Choosing between technical options, such as building a tool or using an existing product, with the trade-offs set out.
- A plan for moving files, data or software from an old system to a new one.
- A review of how your systems handle backups, access and sign-in, with practical improvements.
Tech we use
- Web applications, back-end services and databases, especially TypeScript, Node.js, Python and PostgreSQL.
- Cloud hosting, storage and backups, containers and build pipelines.
- Identity and access, such as two-step sign-in, roles and permissions.
- Advice is written up in a short report you keep, with diagrams where they help.
Your data
- We never use your data to train AI or machine learning models without your written consent, and only for your own project.
- We work from documentation, read-only access or screen-sharing sessions where possible, and ask for wider access only when a task needs it.

What we don’t do
- We give technical advice only. We don’t give financial, legal, tax, accounting or regulatory compliance advice, and our reports are not a substitute for it.
- We don’t carry out formal audits or certifications, and we don’t issue certificates of compliance.
- We don’t make decisions on your behalf. Every recommendation is yours to accept or reject.
- We don’t give financial, investment, legal, tax or medical advice, and we don’t provide any regulated financial service.
- We never hold, receive or move money on behalf of clients or their customers.
Every project must also follow our Acceptable Use Policy.
How we work
Every project follows the same steps: a scoping call, a written fixed-scope quote with the price, milestones you review, and a handover with the source code, documentation and access. Ownership of the source code passes to you once the agreed price is paid in full.
Support is available Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30 (our time zone, UTC+4), except public holidays, with no out-of-hours or on-call service.
